Through his roles in private sector and at the Alberta Geological Survey, Corey has been responsible for assessing how evolving monitoring and measurement technologies can be applied to decision making for over 15 years.   These have included some of the first published applications in North America of the application of airborne LiDAR and satellite based InSAR.   Through these roles Corey has also build long lasting collaborations with key research groups in North America and Europe, which have led to ongoing review assignments for Corey with both the Canadian Space Agency and the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate.
